Job Summary
The Badging Specialist, in conjunction with the Security Technology Specialist and the Security Supervisor, provides customer support, service and technical support through analysis and problem resolving to enable installation, maintenance, education, implementation and documentation of a variety of software and hardware technologies using remote communication, shoulder to shoulder, or through phone to the caregivers.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
Provide outstanding customer service
Processes new user identification badge requests in accordance with established procedures.
Ensures appropriate user access to physical locations, while troubleshooting badge issues
Train new security and security dispatch officers on procedures for issuing identification badges and adding appropriate user access
Budget, account for, maintain, and order all supplies (through the Security Technology Specialist or Security Supervisor) needed to issue identification badges ensuring that enough supplies are on hand to issue badges at all times
Maintain and troubleshoot identification badge printers
Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service.
Prepare daily work and route schedules.
Oversee all communications within specifically assigned expectations.
Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and equipment.
Be proficient with all procedures and equipment associated with the Security Dispatch Officer Position and Security Operations Center.
Receives service and emergency calls by telephone, radio systems or emergency call button.
Question callers to obtain the information needed to determine an appropriate course of action.
Maintain logs of all calls received and prepare reports as necessary.
Experienced SDOs will assist in training new dispatchers.
Ability to operate various computer and communication equipment usually learned through 3-6 months on-the-job training.
Assist with new process development and refining of existing ID Badge processes.
Oversee and document employee deduct forms and cash intake for replacement badges.
Oversee secured ID bag system.
All other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
Required:
Education - High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies
Certifications - Driver's License - State
Physical Requirements:
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
