Pay:
This is a full time hourly/non-exempt position with an hourly pay range of $32-$40/hour.
Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
Location/Travel Requirements:
Position will be based out of Black Hawk, South Dakota.
Job Summary
Work will consist of repairing, rebuilding or overhaul major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, trucks, tractors and miscellaneous equipment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Under supervision of shop supervisor, performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all motorized equipment and vehicles.
Diagnose the source of trouble and determine the extent of necessary repairs.
Employee should keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times.
Demonstrating safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment is required.
Job may require working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow.
Job may require operation of equipment in all elements without climate control.
Job requires employee to have required hand tools with them at all times while at work site.
Must wear personnel protective equipment at all times.

Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
Ability to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
Weekends and overtime as required with little or on short notice.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
10-15 years mechanic experience required, heavy equipment preferred
CDL A
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
Ability to lift by one’s self work loads of 50 lbs.
Climb ladders of all types.
Must possess good vision / hearing.
(Normal or corrected).
Must be able to make transition from employee parking area of street into construction areas and to gain access to all levels of the building or structure, even if the only means of access is by O.

approved site construction ladder or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use.
Ability to work while constantly moving on one's feet.
Preferred:
Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Repairing — Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
Troubleshooting — Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Equipment Maintenance — Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Operation Monitoring — Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Operation and Control — Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school Graduate, Holder of G.

Equivalent experience
Technical school is helpful
LICENSES:
Valid Driver’s License
CDL A Required
