*Primary Function:* We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Mechanical Foreman to join our team in the solar construction industry.
As a Solar Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
You will work closely with a team of 4-6 technicians and subcontractors to manage the planning, execution, and quality control of solar projects.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of solar technology, mechanical systems, and lean construction processes.
You should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team and possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to project management are also essential qualities for this position.

Ensuring compliance with OEM, industry and company specifications/standards and project specifications · Coordinate with construction supervisors and other Field Leads and subcontractors look ahead requirements (schedule, construction materials, rentals, people etc.
) to ensure efficient and safe on-site project execution.
· Train and mentor team members, providing guidance on goal setting, proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
· Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure the highest level of workmanship and product integrity to prevent rework.
· Maintain accurate Procore records of project progress, materials usage, and labor hours.
· Collaborate with construction supervisors, customers, and other stakeholders to address project concerns (schedule, costs, materials) to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance as necessary.
*Skills and Other Characteristics:* · Proven experience as a Solar Mechanical Foreman or similar role in the construction industry · In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, mechanical components, and installation techniques · Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills · Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding technical drawings.
· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
· Knowledge of electrical systems and codes is desirable.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills · Demonstrated commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
· Proficiency in Procore or similar project management software preferred.
· Effective oral, written and communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work autonomously, take initiative and organize work in an independent manner.
· A commitment to fostering positive relationships with colleagues, as a team player.
· Willingness to travel 75%-100% of the time.
