NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
Coordinates district communications through social media and website management.
Promotes recognition of students, staff, and district programs.
Works with the CCSD Board of Trustees, administration, and staff to advance district initiatives and philosophy.
JOB FUNCTIONS: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops and maintains social media platforms.
Manages the district website.
Produces written articles promoting students and staff
Assists with communications during crisis events.
Coordinates employee/student recognition programs.
Implements and trains personnel on districtwide communication systems.
Serves as the CCSD parent facilitator facilitator.
Attends CCSD meetings as needed.
Surveys educational research literature and develops effective methods of communicating the relevant findings to district personnel.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Seeks additional duties as needed.
Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred.
Continual pursuit of relevant training and coursework.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to occasionally work extended days up to 14 hours while maintaining enthusiasm and using proximity and other physical strategies including eye contact, gestures, and voice.
Physical strength and coordination to move tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, flip charts, and chalkboards.
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Work in air conditioned
May have occasional exposure to weather
