*LPN Responsibilities:*
The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing nursing care as directed by the Director of Nursing and for supervising the program aide assigned to assist with nursing services.
* Taking and monitoring patient vital signs
* Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
* Administering medication
* Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members
* Maintaining accurate patient records
* Collecting specimen samples when needed
* Taking an active part in patient care planning
* Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
* Assisting in medical procedures
* Managing emergency medical situations

*LPN Requirements:*
· Must have a valid LPN license in good standing.
* Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
* Completion of orientation required by company policy.
* Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
* Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
* Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
* Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
* Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
