*Duties: * o Maintain records of land transactions, subdivisions, mineral leases, mining claims o File and index UCC’s, Security Agreements, Terminations, Amendments, Partial Releases o File and index Federal and State Tax Liens and Releases o File and index Corner Recordations o File Plat Maps (Subdivision, Cemetery, Map of Survey, Right-of Way Easement, Road) o Record and index Military Discharges (DD214) o Issue Transient Merchants Licenses o Works with the County Clerk in administering elections for the County, State, o Registers new voters in Wyo-Reg o Assists in testing of all election equipment o Issues absentee ballots during election years o Position may be cross trained in duties that are primarily performed by another position
Knowledge of: o Modern office procedures, methods, and equipment.
o English, usage, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, proofreading and punctuation o Principles and practices used when interacting with the public.
o Techniques for proper telephone etiquette o Numerical, alphabetical and subject matter filing systems o Advanced report preparation.
o Pertinent Federal, State and local laws, codes, and regulations including administrative and department policies and procedures.
o Principles and practices of accounting, bookkeeping and statistics.
o Principles and practices of inventory.
o Principles and procedures of record keeping.
o Specialized software (Tyler Technology programs, Archives uploading, Wyo-Reg, NMVTIS,
NADA).
o Time management principles.
o Operations, services and activities of the office.
o Principles and practices of working safely.
