We have one 1/2 available in late-December.
Our pigs were lovingly cared for, fed a high quality diet of fresh garden vegetables, and supplemented with a grain diet, BUT given NO antibiotics.
These pigs enjoyed mud baths, dined on fresh food and water, and had lots of room to free-range.
The hanging weight for a 1/2 pig is estimated at 130 pounds.
A half pork feeds three adults for approximately seven months with light consumption.
Freezer space is one cubic foot for every 15-20 pounds of meat (3.
5 cu ft for a ½ pig).
