Black Hills Orthopedic and Spine Center is seeking a qualified person for the position of System Administrator.
We’re looking for someone who is capable of and has a desire to take on a wide range of IT responsibilities – from infrastructure to application support.
Problem solving skills are necessary along with the patience to communicate with a variety of people throughout the organization.
This person will need to communicate effectively with end users, management, and owners.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network (LAN and WAN), servers, and virtualization infrastructure
* Install and upgrade computers and software, manage virtual servers, and monitor performance of all IT systems
* Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
* Manage regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
* Contribute to helpdesk operations, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related system problems are resolved efficiently and effectively
* Provide documentation and technical specifications to management for planning and implementing new/upgrades of IT infrastructure
* Create and implement training plans for new technology
Qualifications
* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
* 5+ years of network administration or system administration experience
* Strong problem-solving aptitude and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server and Workstation OS administration
* Strong knowledge with Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DNS, DHCP
* Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops and ADC
* Strong knowledge of data backup and security concepts
* Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, Nutanix or equivalent
* Working knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies including switches and firewalls
* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $65,000.
