DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment (vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc)
Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials
Clean wash basins, mirrors, toilets, tubs, and showers daily
Dust furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.
Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc.
Change linens/towels and make beds
Wipe counters and clean windows/mirrors
Replenish missing toiletries and complimentary items
Maintain all safety/sanitation standards, including compliance with all regulations issued government agencies
Report any needed repairs immediately Such repairs may include: scuffed walls, leaky faucets, burned-out lights, loose tiles, missing screws, damaged art, malfunctioning heating/cooling equipment, etc.
Report any security issues to Executive Housekeeper, Manager on Duty (MOD), or other member of the management team
Respond constructively to feedback from management team and Housekeeping Inspectors
Participate in scheduled deep-cleaning projects
Restock housekeeping carts with fresh supplies, as needed
Meet time requirements and speed expectations in cleaning room
Maintain crisp, clean, and professional personal appearance
Perform all housekeeping duties in accordance with IHG brand expectations
Deliver exceptional customer service to guests at all times
Maintain a collegial and helpful environment with colleagues and fellow staff
Always adhere to all company policies/procedures and any applicable state/federal laws
Other duties as-assigned

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous housekeeping experience is ideal.
However, thorough training may be provided for outstanding candidates who lack previous professional housekeeping experience.
Communication skills in working with guests, managers, and other personnel.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires physical stamina.
To fully perform his/her duties, Room Attendants will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, bend, push, and pull.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move continuously during work hours.
Must be able to lift and/or carry 50-75 pounds on a regular basis.
Must be able to work with prescribed cleaning chemicals.
