The Landmark Casino is a new casino property opening in Deadwood soon.
We offer competitive pay and an attractive benefits package including bonusing, retirement matching, and 2+ weeks paid time off in the first year.
Hourly rate starting at $15 plus tips depending on experience.
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for building guest loyalty and cultivating relationships through the delivery of exceptional guest service experience.
Engages in selling and serving beverages and bar food by performing the following duties.
* Greets guests, maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
* Prepares alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and casino patrons * Attentively makes rounds throughout assigned casino areas taking orders and serving guests * Take orders for and prepares and serves appetizers * Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations * Diligently monitors the casino floor and requests valid identification to ensure that all customers are at least 21 years of age.
* Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
* Completes assigned cleaning, stocking, and prep work duties.
* Ensures compliance with regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal laws and the South Dakota State Gaming Commission regulations * Observes proper cleanliness and sanitation standards.
* Maintains excellent communication skills and good working relations with other departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Provides the highest level of personalized attention and guest service.
* Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
* Diligently monitors the casino floor and requests valid identification to ensure that all customers are at least 21 years of age.
* Strictly adheres to company policies and gaming regulations in accordance with the South Dakota Commission on Gaming.
* Keeps the property clean, attractive, and safe.
* Safeguards assets of the company.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be at least 21 years of age.

* Bartending experience required * Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Experience in casino gaming operations, customer service, or hospitality a plus * Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and multi-tasking.
* Experience using point of sale system experience a plus.
* The ability to learn complimentary guidelines consistent with normal industry standards.
ABILITIES & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Ability to stand for long periods of time on a daily basis, walk to various areas of the casino, and be able to push, pull or move heavy objects with assistance.
* Work environment may include variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, nights, and holidays based on business needs.
